Deal website, how much would development cost?

Just wondering if anyone can provide any suggestions as to where to start. There are many deals websites out there such as DealNews.com, DealCatcher.com, SlickDeals.net, etc. Can Joomla (modified) handle the task and make it easy-to-use or would it have to be 100% custom CSS programming...

Why is a domain "Pending Delete" after it expired 5 months ago?

No actually, that date 2011-07-25 was the day the domain disappeared off NameJet's list of domains available soon (for Pre-Release). The domain was CruisesToGo.com and I was watching it. I thought it was weird for it to have a Pre-Release in the last week of August. So this "extended RGP...

Why is a domain "Pending Delete" after it expired 5 months ago?

I understand the 75-80 day period. But I'm talking about a domain that expired in April, and now it is pending delete. The registrar is ENOM. So i'm just wondering what happened for 2 months after the 75-80 day period? Can registrars just hold onto domains for 4-5 months?

Starting my own Adult live cam site

Well everyone starts off as a newbie unless you already directed porn movies before the internet was even invented. I know there are big players out there and they'd probably want to remain as a big player. I'll check GFY out and see what i can learn from there.

Why is a domain "Pending Delete" after it expired 5 months ago?

A few times i noticed a domain has gone to pending delete but expired like 5 months ago. I seen one recently and it was registered with ENOM, and now it's ready to be backordered. How is that possible?

I'm from Canada. So far it sounds like a difficult industry to get into? Am i better off just doing affiliate marketing then? lol ---------- Post added at 03:56 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:55 AM ---------- what do you mean by that? Are most people on gfy.com stuck up snobs?

    domain Please Appraise NewZealandHomes[dot]com, TropicalWedding[dot]com

yes definately! I know some people who actually had their wedding in Jamaica, Dominican Republic, etc. So there is alot of potential. Also, maybe a forum where people can share their experiences/photos will help as well.

Starting my own Adult live cam site

30+ live models? geez.... and I was thinking 10 was plenty. So is there some sort of association that you have to be a part of or there is no license required to produce Adult Entertainment? I'd assume there must be some sort of governing body that regulates the porn industry?

    domain Please Appraise NewZealandHomes[dot]com, TropicalWedding[dot]com

Thanks! The thing with TropicalWedding, I guess i can develop it as a travel website that offers everything from wedding planners to travel bookings. Kind of like a "complete package" deal, rather than having people book everything separately from different sites. Just an idea...

Starting my own Adult live cam site

Hi all, I'm in discussions with some investors and partners who can find girls to do live cam. Do I need a special license to provide adult entertainment, like a membership to any association? Or can i just simply setup my site, provide my own original content, and try to aggressively...
