advice How my new investment is also affected by Shane Bellone

I’ve come across the original thread by @12no3 a few times and only now had time to read through it in more detail. I think it’s only right I post to clarify a few things. I can confirm that I was a buyer of the 42 names that Shane sold on from the overall original 845 deal. I feel these...

    New to Domaining

Best of Luck Just one friendly advice: Keep it old school - to the domains which stand the test of time: .coms, maybe occasional .net - don't jump into some brand new shiny extensions, which may look very lucrative but would most likely fail very fast.

    strategy Developing your domain names

Good evening boys and girls, It's great that everyone seem to have their favorite name they want / wish to develop in theory, some day. I have heard this over and over again in this business - that some day when there is time and when the situation is just right, and when the moon is blue -...

How Safe is ESCROW.com for sellers

Hey guys, I wanted to ask your opinion about escrow.com and what are they charging this big money for.... For a long time now, I have a reservations when it comes to selling domains and using escrow.com as a method of transferring the funds and domains securely. On the other hand as a buyer...

advice How my new investment is also affected by Shane Bellone

According to Shane - no, that was not an issue. I believe the original transfer back in September was a push, therefore 60 days rule did not apply, and regardless, I bought those 2.5 months later.

advice How my new investment is also affected by Shane Bellone

The thing is, my deal with Shane was for 50 names. 8 of them were owned by Shane but had nothing to do with charge back by Shane (I understand from other domainers that Shane sold a few names, outside of the huge purchase he made in September), but I can ballpark the numbers for those 42 names...

.in Reasons behind MASSIVE GROWTH in the .IN extension

;) I have been trading domain names since 1999. I have a few names in my portfolio. A sample of our names is located on heavendomains.com website. btw, yesterday I registered heavendomains.in, since I think it's going to be a major part of our future business and development.

advice How my new investment is also affected by Shane Bellone

I was contemplating this, however I don't think it would be right, since Shane did in fact transfer those names. I would not have a claim with paypal and it seems unethical to me. (not that I defend what Shane did)

.in Reasons behind MASSIVE GROWTH in the .IN extension

Personally, i think this has nothing to do with the subject... maybe we can stay on topic and be productive, while avoiding going into politics..."corrupts absolutely" - almost funny... there are plenty of other powers out there, which are much more corrupt, but unrelated to domain business.

opinion GoDaddy and I am forgetting to remove BIN listings and its repercussions

I know this is not exactly the same as your situation, but having purchased a few domain names which were not available - is not a good experience. I am not saying GD is right, maybe they should check their inventory better, and excuse a first time offenders, however This happened to me a lot...

    DaaZ.com Domain Marketplace (Official Thread)

I have been using Daaz.com with great success for over a year now and I can say Daaz team and their owner goes above and beyond for their customers. Daaz.com customer support is always courteous with timely responses, super fast payments and transfers. They help with each step along the way...

advice How my new investment is also affected by Shane Bellone

I agree with general Justice - 110 %, and it would be really nice if Shane can come back and pay the money he made with the names sold on the side. As far as unethical - what I meant is - I am going to have to do charge-back for paypal and explain to the paypal that domains were not delivered...
