discuss .io vs .it: Why one succeeded over another?

Being from Italy, I can confirm you that .it extension in our country is the main ccTLD, even most important that .com when an italian company has to choose.

    Greetings from Italy

Thank you! Thank you too. And I surely will follow your advice, mostrly because english is not my first language so I need to be extra careful. Truth is that I was lucky enough to get a .org domain (and maybe an .it one) with some value, a few days ago. So I need to really understand how...

    guide For Newbies Only

May bad, I should have been more clear: here in Italy, if two domains are composed by the same italian word(s), the .it one will have a greater market because we prefer .it ext above .com I understand it may be weird, but it's how it works here. If someone is selling: Cappuccino.it And...

    guide For Newbies Only

Thank you for sharing. I come from Italy and I can tell you that, in my country, .it domains are the most common ones, but also I understand that this is a local rule and, for worldwide sells, .com are definitely better.

domain Dilem.ma and other domain hacks

Being from Italy, I can confirm you that the word "amici" is the plural form of amico, which mean friend. As an italian, however, I don't know if I'd spend in a non .it domain... In my country, the most common and used tlds are still .it, and .com. Followed by .org, .net and .eu

domains I know it’s only expired domains but I like it - RonnieWood.com closes at $60,000 a lot to unpack

This means I can still try to sell my avicii.org? I'm scared by TM infringement... How does it work? Could the domain be sellable even if it's contain the name of the person?
