services IBM broke its cloud by letting three domain names expire

The explanation also reveals that the network-layer.net domain was caught up in the mess, in addition to the global-datacenter.com and global-datacenter.net domains that IBM reported as messed up in September. It's unclear if IBM or its outsourced registrar was responsible for the failure to...

.com Discrimination.com sold for $23,000 USD

I think it is actually a very cheap wholesale price. Easily flippable for 250K to the right campaign holder, especially in law. Imagine billboard with Discrimination.com on it.

Expected future of 4LLLL .com domains.

lol, calling a bottom is a fool's game, but if you have a long term view, then I think it is pretty cheap.

discuss What are your predictions for domains in 2017?

I think 2017 will be a good year for us. Certainly better than 2016 All non-CHIP LLLL.com will be higher than they are today. We will see signs of death for some of the more moronic & overpriced gTLDs. Two word generic keyword domains will gain back momentum and shake the "new distaste towards...

Bidding on your own names at NameJet...?

This whole thing pisses me off as well, as I spent and continue to spend a lot of money on Namejet. Having said that, I am responsible for what I bid. So, I gotta make my own maximums - if i think a 4L is worth 180, then its 180 whether the shill guys outbid me or not. Then again - I coulda had...

services Compete.com shuts down

yea, a great resource, I used them too over the years. Its unbelievable that they are shutting down. IMO - a good example of leadership sleeping at the wheel. Don't mean to sound like a total a$$ - but over the years, these guys had plenty of opportunities to sell, but they did not. The bag gets...
