Question about a reseller acct.

If they allow for service/plan changes in their TOS then they can do this. Most hosts will have something to the effect of "We can make changes at any time to our plans/pricing" in their TOS/AUP. However, it's very bad form to not grandfather your current clients to the old rates/plans.

Doesn't facebook do the same thing? I read somewhere that anything you upload to facebook in essence becomes their property and they can do with it as they please. I'm curious to know if this is the case without scouring their AUP/TOS.

I agree with the above post. Especially if you'll be competing with longer established, better known hosts. You'll need to find a niche or be competitive in your pricing and offer the added benefit of more personal service.

CloudLinux and WHMCS Server Status

We run CloudLinux on every shared server and also use WHMCS's status script. Are you getting any errors? Did you upload the script to every server you want to monitor as well as enter the correct URL to the script in WHMCS settings?

GeoIP is showing the IP in Denver. Go to geoiptool in google and enter the IP address. I can't post links. However, as the above post suggested you can always confirm with the host.

Better to Make Content Before Getting Space?

I know this is about 30 days old but with no response to it I think it deserves an answer. The only issue with that is that depending on how you are coding your site, you can't be 100% sure it will work on the hosting platform you end up hosting on. Every host configures their servers...

MySQL Governor From CloudLinux

We run CoudLinux on all servers and so far never had an issue and works great. If I'm not mistaken, mysql Governor is still in Beta. Although I'm a fan of CloudLinux, just can't run a beta product on a production server. From what I've heard though, they are close to officially rolling it out.
