One last note, I also think .coms with online in it got sold that much in the past because Google ranked them higher as non-keyword domains in good old times. Indeed, people were probably searching "smartphones online". But as far as I know these times are over, at least according to Google...

@deez007 I can follow you. :) smartphones.online would also make more sense to end-users searching for smartphone deals online. The problem with .online is, either the superb keywords are gone or they are sold as premium domains. smartphones.online would cost me on namecheap €594.86/year and...

Ya, you are right. I just read an article about it. I was reading something different in the past and thought they do not have any advantages at all nowadays. But it seems they do when coupled with HQ content as you stated. Also interesting that Google penalizes poor quality EMD sites now...

Yes, I wouldn't recommend to sell it on Flippa. Only if you spend some decent amount of cash in marketing the auction on their platform. Sorry mate, I am still not a big fan of this domain. In my opinion .io domains are great for tech startups using short brand names/one killer keyword names...

I agree. The extension seems quite a never ending story. But hopefully I will be lucky. At least there is a lot of competition in the broadcasting industry. Google gave me plenty of results when searching for broadcasting solutions or broadcast solutions. Thanks for the feedback.
