I remember when Moniker was the "go to" registrar, of sorts. Almost like you weren't a real "domainer" if your (or at least part of) portfolio was not registered with them. Or maybe that's just my own experience. Truthfully, I have not used Moniker in quite some time. I hate to hear you had...

Namecheap Transfer Out

Unless things have changed in the last few years (I've been away a while), that is pretty standard at any registrar. In most cases 5 days is bare minimum. As already mentioned, NameCheap is a reseller of eNom. Therefore, they are under the restrictions of eNom itself.

discuss Do most of you develop a new domain? Or sell right after you purchase it?

I'm a little late in replying to this thread, but personally, I try to develop any new domain name I acquire. Though, to be honest, I've been out of the domain game for quite some time now. I've always believed, as many others will tell you, is that a developed domain will tend to sell better...

Recommend A Domain Name Registrar

It's already been mentioned a few times in this thread, but I will add a +1 to NameCheap. Their support, for me, has always been fast, courteous, and very helpful. Overall, a great registrar. :)

I personally used to recommend vBulletin at one time. I no longer do so. You are much better off with IPB or Xenforo as far as paid solutions are concerned. If you are looking for a free solution, I would recommend MyBB. As for hosting, http://www.site5.com/p/forum-hosting/.

Hello bijaybd, http://www.namepros.com/manage.php Could you check to see if it has your username / enom password listed on this page? When the domains were moved to enom, they were processed and this link provided to members. It may still work for you. Eric

I think I found the problem. http://www.namepros.com/members/184906.html Somehow this account was created at the same time - with the same username. The above account is closed, and when the PM system searches for your username, it picks up the closed one. I will see what I can do to resolve...
