.co .CO - The Discussion, Showcase and Sales Report Thread

And that is the nature of the domain industry. There is no such thing as a "repeat sale" in domains. You might sell one for $1000 and another one, quite the same, for $50000. It just depends. I don't think a person has to get repeat sales at $15000 in order to have made a success out of an...

It's not reg. fee, for heavens sake... ---------- Post added at 07:25 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:24 AM ---------- Start by letting the person make an offer. Then you can go from there. "Fresa" is also a nice brandable, IMO.

.me The .ME Discussion and Showcase

It all depends what you want to do. .com is the staple extension. I don't care much for .net. .org is for mostly non-commercial usage. Personally, I like .com, .co, .de, .tv and .me. But you really need the better keywords for the ccTLDs. I wouldn't bother with .fm or the similar. Waste of money.

.co .CO - The Discussion, Showcase and Sales Report Thread

This was an oft talked about issue in the past week or so. If you read through previous posts in the past few days, you'll get a good picture of both sides of the matter. If you look at the majority of the traffic, most people still go to Overstock.com by a wide margin, not o.com or o.co...

Happened to me too the other day with a .co. They were going to give me $1000, I countered with 5 Gs and that was the end of the discussion.

I think the Poet pretty much covered everything. Peg.co is by far the best. Ork is OK. But I think perhaps you've overvalued the others from the beginning. Like Poet said, these are not products, per se, that people go out and spend money on. What you want are products or social monikers that...

A pretty nice sale considering "poquer" has only 1.4 mill Google page results. The thing with poker is that the English word is the most common around the world. Hence, a nice sale there.

I don't know which jungle you've been hanging out in, but here's the apolitical Colombia. This Colombia looks pretty daunting, doesn't it?: Not a bad representation of what .co has to offer...:tri:

There is no luck involved in domains. Every good sale has a lot of work behind it. If you don't realize that, you are living in another land. Every .com sale has a story behind it. Every sale has a story behind it. Like every other extension has a story behind it. Have you petitioned the .co...

"Any publicity is good publicity" never referred to businesses that were physical product oriented. It refers to entertainment celebrities and the such who may gain popularity from being "infamous" or "famous". This stands true even more so in the internet age. The internet is 1000x more...

    .ca Anyone with some insight?

Hi Wendy, I don't have much experience with .ca, but I'd say it's pretty tough to compare it to .com. I think with extensions like .ca, which are not so ubiquitous, you'd have to be incredibly proactive to possible end-users in Canada. There are some extensions that are not really sit and...
