Thanks for the input guys! So the best way is to ask the parking service provider what type of traffic they accept and then work towards it. But I'm still puzzled about the typed-in traffic - how would newly registered domain get type-in traffic if it had never existing before? thanks...

Thanks weblord! This is completely new to me. I didn't know that the one can renew "expired" domains during the grace period at the standard rate. This is a 'rule' or can the different registrars charge as they wish during the "Grace" period? Thanks, expdom
