Trademark Question - Can I Get In Trouble For AppleNewsStories.com

If you were using the word Apple unrelated to the company, then it would be generic and ok to use. In this case, it is specifically about the product, so you would not be authorized to use it unless you were officially the news voice of Apple the company.

Wow, that seems a bit high and in fact ,I was surprised to see many of those domains that sold for what they did. I find our industry very interesting. Some that don't seem to have value end up selling high, and others that seem like winners never move.

There isn't much to lose in trying, but it seems that selling domains or websites with revenue will get more realistic bids / sales than just domains. I'd love to hear how well others have done with just domains at Flippa, but I have only sold sites with revenue there.

Namerific Experience

I haven't yet used Namerific, so I figured "what the heck" and just submitted 11 domains. I will let you all know how it goes. It's a nice concept, but my question is "what are they doing to get in front of prospective end users?"

For the record, and since people are mentioning charge backs, there are two things I always do with unknown parties. 1. Use a sales agreement (I've done these even with Flippa sales). Why? A sales agreement shows the intention of the parties. If someone tried to back charge their PayPal...
