Is it possible to beat a drop catcher?

How fast are the drop catching sites? (Snapnames, etc)? If I, for example, just keep on trying to register a domain name.. Could I do it manually before a automatic drop catcher gets it? (Manually using GoDaddy, for example.) Are there any faster sites to register a domain manually...

Hmm, yep it is a hosting company out of England, but I guess they could be inquiring on someone elses behalf, who knows. Maybe the domain would be worth alot more to the Vodka company?

N97: Trademarked or not?

Is "N97" (Nokia phone) trademarked? I would be sure it is, but I searched for N97 at Trademark Electronic Search System (TESS) and there were no results. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

What about "-" Domains?

Loss Weight has 12,100 Exact Searches a month (If I'm looking at the right number).. That seems rather high to me for something that doesn't even make sense

Could a domain like this really be worth anything?

6 Letters long - pronounceable - but not a real a word. Estibot rates it at $740, but a few other automatic value estimators say it is only worth 18 or 20 bucks. Debating whether to register it, but not sure it is actually worth anything. Here are the Estibot stats. Any thoughts would be...

What day will a domain drop?

Alright, so I've read that .com domains drop at between 11am-2pm pacific time. If I find a site that I want to try to register that is "Pending Deletion" - is there a way I can find out what day it is scheduled to drop? Thanks.

I registered a site about 6 months ago (adamo13.com). I just left it and I just checked my email and I have an email from a lawyer that tells me to transfer it to Dell. So I go to my GoDaddy page, to the "Initiate Account Change" and it asks me for the new registrants account number and...
