Popularity of "hub" domains

I registered insuranceshub few months ago (handreg). Honestly I don't know if it's worth something but this combination sounds to me better then a singular version. Handregs for hub are still out there, although if my insuranceshub is worthless then perhaps guys writing above are right.

poll As a buyer on a scale of 0 to 10 how important is the value assigned by an automated appraisal

I totally agree with domainers that don't follow appraisal tools. However - I'd give the appraisal tools a bonus about the EMDs (not the GD one). I've seen several videos of Andre Rosener and Chris Zuiker explaining how the right keyword increases the volume of customers and at the same time...

Popularity of "hub" domains

Thinking about a coolest hub domain made me check - coolesthub.com is still available for handreg. I have no idea what sort of business would it be for so that's probably the reason. But isn't it the coolest hub name? :)

Do you think that development of the other gTLDs would be as dynamic, as it is recently, if dotcoms were cheap? I don't say it is for sure - but it is possible that high value of certain domains increased the innovation.
