Hi Bob - It was pushed within the same registrar so no issues. I had actually regged one of them a few months ago for a different project not related to domaining so there wouldnt have been an issue either way.

Hi Sorry for puzzling you. I had several back and forth exchanges with this person and it became clear they were willing to walk way. It was my view, based on the evidence in front of me at the time, she would not pay more than the 3.5k. 3,500 is better than 0. Euro or not

The reason is probably due the secondary market for .ie domains only opening a couple of years ago. :) I reckon you will see a few more sales over the next 12 months especially since the rules were also relaxed a bit on who can register them.

Thanks! I cant disclose the first domain as it was part of the sale agreement. It was LLL.ie in the insurance/financial services niche. The second one was inferno dot ie. I believe the buyer is going to relist it for sale soon :)

discuss Does .ie have the luck of the .Irish

Hey - Great idea for a thread. :) My own view is that .ie domains will slowly continue to rise in value, especially around generic/dictionary words and I can well foresee the IEDR relaxing requirements in this next few years. For example - I registered the following domains only recently and...

Hey - Alot of messages :p I am sure most them ended up in Spam. It was via direct email. I used hunter.io to get all the email addresses on the site, then checked linkedin to match the job title to the email.
