Question about valuations from a Noob (Me)

Hi, i am considering putting a domain to auction in the next few months, cant decide whether i want to keep and develop it into an online store or not. The site is androidphones.xyz. According to estibot, the domain is worth around $1,300 on the market. Would that be anywhere near a realistic...

Pretty excited, just sold my first domain, buycottonshirts.com. however a bit of a snafu, using Flippa, i put in bank details instead of paypal for escrow and they want to charge me a transfer fee for more than the domain sale price for international bank transaction. I didnt notice the option...

Thanks for the warm welcome and advice guys. Truth be told i asked a friend of mine in the marketing/ad agency space before buying as he buys domain names for various promotions, etc, he seemed to think it should be fine. however when shown evidence of googles "acquisitions" of android domains...

i have recently discovered that facebook groups can be very useful for driving traffic to your listings. I sold my first domain today, i noticed an uptick in views every time i posted a link to the auction in the FB Groups. Ultimately the Auction was passed in but was sold in post auction...

Thanks and i appreciate the feedback. Why not paypal out of curiosity? using an escrow system with a payout to paypal seems to be (so far) to be the cheapest and seemingly secure way to go. Will look into Payoneer & Name Silo too. thanks :-)

yeah its frustrating. I have got flippa involved now, and they have sent her a message reminding her that auction results are legally binding and to get in contact. Will see what happens. Should be so much easier than this for the sake of $25! lmao

I have thought of this, but she is reading the emails on flippa itself, you can see they have been marked as read. So if she can log on to flippa to read a message, surely she can reply?

No i mean, i have given the auth codes and everything. THe buyer is unresponsive. I would have thought a transaction would be complete within 24-48 hours once those codes were given. Have complained to flippa about it, not that they can do much. its just so frustrating. The domain itself has...

When to follow up on a tardy buyer?

Hi everyone, I have recently sold a domain name on flippa. the buyer has paid and placed funds in the flippa escrow. within a few hours of that, i sent the buyer a message advising the domain was ready for transfer and gave the relevant codes to enable transfer. It has been a few days now...
