Understandable, let's say that the website has a pagerank of 4 with Google and an Alexa traffic rank between 90,000 - 100,000. That way you can assume that Google at least likes the website and there is some good traffic going to it. That should make estimations a bit easier.
How much would you pay for a website strictly based on the number of backlinks to it? Considering that you don't know how much revenue is coming in or how much traffic it is getting. You are strictly buying it because of how many backlinks it has.

If the whois search is showing that then it means that DomainMonster did grab it before anyone else.
However, if it says "Click Panda" but has the GoDaddy Arizona address, then that mean GoDaddy grabbed it first ;)
All .co domains are showing up as being "click panda". Just lookup the address where they are registered and you will see what registrar it is.
