Is this normal behaviour? There is a two word finance niche term searched 8000 times per month globally. I contacted the .org owner, and offered him $500 which I think is a very generous price, but I wanted to make a good offer and get the domain developed asap. His counter offer was $8000...

thanks for your reply. Just had a look now, the cost per clicks are all in the $1 to $2 range. There are 8 companies who have bought sponsored links for the exact keyword, all of them are retailers. As i said, the keywords are not far off "mens watches" so pretty general product terms...

Oh your right, I meant more the guys who were regging 100's of domains and not doing anything with them. Part of the reason i regged the domains i did was because i knew i could put content on them: 3dtabletcomputer.com - i can publish info and reviews on them as the different models are...
