Afternic recommended?

It seems that the majority of big sales come from Sedo, judging by DNJournal's report each week, but i was interested in finding another Auction site myself too :) I'm on Sedo and Godaddy, but obviously you wanna be in as many places as you can. My portfolio isnt large enough to warrant this...

Just my opinion, but I dont like the ez at the start. The rest seems good. For me, I think the keywords are going to be more crucial for this one than most, so you can hopefully get some decent hits. Are you thinking of just flipping this one to an end user or parking it up? Good luck though :)

I'm no expert mate so its purely an opinion from reading lots of appraisals and market research but I dont think this is likely to be worth much more than reg fee. Did you have an end user in mind to sell this too? Maybe someone selling calenders of models or a newspaper featuring scantily clad...

Sounds like you may be getting a bit upset. I've had a couple of appaisals on here too mate, and its easy to get upset if someone tells you that your domains arent worth big bucks. The thing to remember is that these opinions are free and although some opinions are more helpfull than others...

Is GoDaddy's deluxe or protected registration worth it?

The amount of options you get after selecting a name to buy is stupid on godaddy.com. So many times I have had to click remove on the checkout after being shocked to see something I didnt want in there. Why can't they just keep it simple. BTW, the codes WOW1, WOW2 and WOW3 can be used to get...

Tips for Newbies from a Newbie

All good advice. As a newbie myself I was lucky to see the "DON'T GO MAD" advice threads early, and if everyone on here is saying the same thing there must be something in it. I myself have cut down smoking and using the $12 I spent on cigs per day to buy a couple of domains a week kinda seems...

Domaining as the main and only job?

I suppose in some cases it must just be a matter of luck. The right end user seeing your domain on Sedo or somewhere and making a good offer. I'm still waiting for google to index my sites :)

Quick question for you fine peeps

I'm thinking of reg'ing a new domain, but it will not have any SEO impact. Its more an "easy to remember" .com which I hope I could put into a SEDO auction. Am I just taking a little risk, or am I lining my foot up to be shot by the gun in my hand? :) Thanks guys.
