Hi everyone!
I just wanted to say hello and give a brief introduction.
I'm fairly new to domaining, albeit not new to buying domains as I've been purchasing since 2005, I am however new to buying for the purpose of reselling.
I have much to learn, and after searching this site I've decided...
Their list of accepted domains is very random. Some very good domains are listed, some very average domains as well. I wonder if their acceptance of domains has anything to do with a prequalified list of potential buyers who have expressed interest in specific domains, and they've in turn...
What stumps me is looking at their list of 2016 sales. Top of the list is Lawn.com That is an amazing domain name and something that could be considered a "super" premium domain name.
Right off the top I'm thinking one of the many major companies that manufacture lawn care products...
hahaha what a perfect example of an oxymoron.
It's sort of ironic at how 99% of domainers are bad at domaining, and still have no clue to even the basic fundamentals of business. Yeup.
With so many newbies entering the domain name game, to help us increase our likelihood of success, it would be beneficial to hear the true sales cycle (right down to the basic intricacies of the process, from start to finish).
Domain names themselves are important, but asking about a specific...
interesting. thank you
would you mind if I was able to see one of your parking pages where the domain is for sale? Just to see an example as reference. you've been doing this a while, so I couldn't imagine many other people being more informative of at least the basics on what works.
I understand what you're saying, but the fact remains that this shouldn't happen in the first place, period. considering the deep pockets of this public company, it's even more so in their case.
I also find that their prices for renewals aren't reasonably priced. At least not from what one of...
Hi HKIBC,
Unfortunately I can't elaborate in great detail because I wasn't the one who placed the listings, but I do know that 2 different friends had previously listed at Flippa, among other sites.
From what I understand they were both for an Auction listing.
One friend listed at $9 plus...
Hmmm. This seems like an odd way of engaging a broker to sell your domain names.
Typically, a broker (regardless of industry) will be very selective in the products they wish to represent. They choose the products based upon a rating system they adopt, which indicates the likelihood of a...
Currently at around 300 domains: 95% .com, a couple of .Net, Info and Org.
I'll develop a few, learn more about domaining to better understand sell opportunities, and sit on the rest for a while. Have owned most since early 2000's.
That's a whole different beast, with many factors to consider. Unfortunately, it's not as simple as just saying okay let's add it. It would be interesting to conduct a risk vs reward analysis for the inclusion of that additional service into NP.
At the very least, maybe find a good partner...
I get it. The concept is kind of neat...develop a site where peeps have a chance (trivia/games etc...) to win quick cash and prizes (product samples/credits/coupons). It's a neat concept with massive potential and a lot of work to design and develop. If done correctly you could have a long...
bespoke by definition is a great domain. Sadly I think the owner has been looking through a kaleidoscope in determining its value, not really understanding the many factors he should consider in determining a realistic asking price. too bad, because now he's going to stress out until this is...
