Domaining is about taking calculated risks. IMO the sales data with frequent numeric extension sales is always helpful 1st .com then .net @ 10-15% of .com value...
I registered 888888.mx for 2yrs that was on the drop and never sold its just like .al and .ch hardly any sales and maybe a waste...
If there is a NP auction and the domain is with 1and1 i will never make a bid because of how bad they are... It's a shame as I have seen some good numerics up for auction over the past 6 months but it just not worth the hassle.
I cancelled my 1and1 account last year after it took months...
QTWW:前途旺旺>Prosperous future

I also own 9988877.com I picked it up last year...
It's the same for me I always look for VR domains and offer around $150-$200 and it's all a long term play for me.
There are a lot of domainers currently looking for VR domains to invest in as more news about VR and the money currently invested into it shows there is very good ROI to be made...
IMO I thought they were really long but thought they might have some value?
I've come to find most domains over 10 characters are too long from a company standpoint of view. I see it from the view of would the domain also work as a company email address unless it's just for a website project...
