I have a suggestion for you, as you would have to face the same problem again i.e. when your logo is scaled down it will look weird, so instead of web 2.0 logo (multicolour, origami, transparency, gradients) you should have a flat logo with minimal colours (for both mascot and letters).

Here is my design idea. Icon is a letter 'O' with a check-mark and in text there is a small caps "i" in "Optin" to show it is a combination of 2 words, 'opt' and 'in'. Also shown how it would look like on your site. let me know your feedback.

advice Please Help me choose a domain for portfolio site

I think namesfolio and namerstag are the best from the list and also they sound quite well particularly namesfolio. And may be namefolio would be a more better if you can get it... And if you are only going for brandable domains why not use 'brand' keyword in your domain...
