Parking has died, long live parking...

The problem is, domainers believe because they spend hours optimizing, checking keywords and customizing domains, this has to be worth something. Says who? No-one asked domainers to do this, the reason this option is available in the first place is because domainers asked for it. The same...

Parking domains a joke

Well, theres a simple answer to this, the parking company dont know themselves what each click to each domain earns. They cant even tell you how many bonafide clicks your domain had... For Google fed parking co's this is because of two reasons; 1 these stats are not reported; parking...

"Define Legit Traffic"

"Legit traffic" is all about using common sense - thats all. And its no wonder that the root feed providers look for syndication partners to field this kind of stuff. Its a continuous feast of domainers looking to twist, bend, pump, dump, drive and click their usually crud domains. My take...

.tv It's the last day in the best month for dotTV!

Im happy to see .tv come to fruition. Im also happy to pat myself on the back and be proud to stand with the handful of domainers at this forum who stood with me several years ago when all were saying .TV never stood a chance. This is just the beginning friends, .TV is hot property...

.mobi What .mobi will reach 1 million?

Interesting.... This .Mobi launch (and more so since these recent 2 big reportedsales) have made discussion the most vibrant and at some times the most heated debates since I can remember. Ironically enough, i think domainers from both camps actually agree on a lot of the issues and...

.mobi What .mobi will reach 1 million?

Yeah, nice one Ginge. A very pragmatic and level headed post. My fear for .mobi investors, especially new ones, is that this current almost unbelievable wave of euphoria (bordering it seems on hysteria) may be clouding their judgement when portfolio building. And with prices considerably...

.mobi I sold sportsbook.mobi for $XXX,XXX

You are right MrRhee, Im impressed by Soda's confidence in his stock and his willingness to hold out for an incredibly high sum when, yes, I would have bailed a lot earlier.. Probably like most regular domainers would have done.. And despite all the ultra-pro .mobi fans all screaming down anyone...

DNF Hacked

Theres nothing much more to add to it.... Last time he hacked NP's he called the host (as i believe) and obtained access to the NP servers that way. If my memory serves me right, safesys over at DS helped recover the site... It seems the same this time, as the dnf root domain is still...

DNF Hacked

Ya, same guy who hacked Namepros a while back... Not rocket science, his modus operandi is to call the host pretending to be the owner and cons someone into giving out passwords etc... Hope all you guys with accounts there dont use the same email and password for anything of any value...

ll.co.uk

Misry, what have we got to do to get you to understand that you cannot register any LL.co.uk domains, the central registry Nominet has made it against their rules and they are the governing body. You really should drop your internal dialogue. Now just because some tag holder is showing the...

status-resolved UD aka Chelsie Murphy "Warning to Others"

Almost dropped my bacon sandwich when i read that bit. You got me, im exposed....... :red:  Actually, if anyone can be bothered to read the first few pages of this thread you'll see I initially had sympathy with UD. But hey, seeing as though Name-Maker is the only one...
