What will now happen with AR/VR?!

Before vision pro there have been already really good AR headsets...
    like xreal or visor.

Now, these companies are intrigued by the tech, that runs the vision pro.

Of course some will take a closer look at the 'inner build' of it, even though this is not very gentle.

In one year time, they will try to upgrade their own hard- and software, with a much bigger price gap to apple's enormous $3.5k.

That means that within a year, we will start to see more affordable AR glasses, enhanced by AI voice command.
    - smartglasses.

    That's truly exciting & revolutionary.
"Don't do it - don't buy that crappy, commercial unusable, misspelled, hyphenated domain.

You did it before, had no luck,
you won't have it this time as well.

A meaningful domain hack is something totally different..."

Also: A descriptive name, which cannot be used as a brand / at least unique domain, is not very likely to sell.

The point of view is always the buyer:
He wants a clear, unique, most likely lexicon proof domain.

Some nerdy name or semi-quality hack is something he coud find on his own, if he really wants it.

And: SEO shield names are 1 of a 100 to sell.
That is more gambling (+ possible copyright violation) than anything else.

    Future is unpredictable.
What I learned from NP is,
that most people here are comfortable with the fact,
that someone regs 20 thousand domains in a single TLD - all dictionary words -

and then sells them to the masses.

There is nothing I cannot stand more than when a big cooperation (shark) eats all lunch, does not leave anything to the others,

or wealthy individuals behave like that.

It just does not feel like domaining - because it isn't.

    #xyz
I think if you look into a future, where the usage of headsets is a daily thing and it's main-stream,
you may use something different than AR/VR.

For the time now, there is nothing that is more prominent than AR/VR.

XR might get there one time.

    How domaininig works (?)

    - Grabbing, catching, maybe handregging a *few* good domains.
    > For a specific industry, niche, or even general usable.
    - Then renewing them 3-5 years in ADVANCE (so prospect knows, you are serious).
    > Waiting // maybe reaching out to somebody, on linkedin, twitter, etc.
    - Hopefully selling ONE domain for 4-5 digit price
    > Reinvesting
    - Repeating

One thing is important: it is like poker; don't let buyer know you may be ready to sell for lower amount.
(negotiate, if you can afford it)

Never give a good domain away for a too low price.

The name might sell later for a (much) higher price.

That's why renewing is so important.

    Andreas B.
Brandable domaining might be a (too) risky & complicated domain game.

I would stay away from it, unless it is a really good brandable.

(Renewing cost might be too high, before a really interested buyer occurs...)
    Andreas B.
    Andreas B.
But: Developing might be the better option, for (-really-) good names.

    As the valuation rises overproportionally.

    So let the semen in
    & take care.
