discuss What are the best automatic appraisal systems/services today?

I put no real value in using automated domain valuation sites like Estibot and others. The reason for me is that many domains are very brandable and the valuation engine they employ only takes into consideration key words, current traffic, links and a few other metrics. The problem is that given...

guide How do I valuate domains and set an asking price

Exactly. The end price is what you are willing to accept and what the buyer is willing to pay. That is the true value of the domain at that moment. All else is simply speculation.

    domain 166666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666664.com

I think I just got keyboard finger from trying to type that domain into my browser lol. It is unique I have to give you that. I also think I began seeing double and might have typed a few to many 6's in. It was like one of those pictures where you stare at it long enough and you see the picture...

domain What is the price of this domain? - royal.estate

I agree that unless you can make some great flow from the keyword and gtld it is not worth much. I do see value in some of these though such as .host and .hosting for example. I prefer the .hosting for example and it flows well for pretty much any company that is in the hosting business...

poll ARE THERE TO MUCH TLDs TODAY?

I need to really delve more into these types of extensions. I can think of a lot of great ones that would be very memorable. I think honestly that to many people are used to .com and afraid of change including myself. I think I am going to make a choice to start thinking outside the box and gain...

guide How do I valuate domains and set an asking price

Found this post useful as I am just now getting into selling many of my domains. I have held onto a lot of them for a long time with intentions to use, but found that I am so focused in on industry that sidetracking myself with other projects was not a good idea. I have struggled with...

news Google Making Another Big Push In Domain Names

For me it would take a lot for me to change. I was viewing it to see what all they really offer and honestly it is not that impressive to me. I would stay where I have been for 10 years. I use Dynadot and have always like their singular focus and easy to use panel.

    domain ExtremeStorage (dot)com

Great name for many markets. I could mention all the markets that were already mentioned, but pointless. The names value is of course dependent on the buyer in the long run, but I would not take anything less than x,xxx or xx,xxx.

    dharmik.in sold for 10,7000$ by latonas.com

congratulations. It is always great to hear that someone has had success selling a domain or website for a price that they are happy with.

    domain .

I would agree with @lolwarrior. It will most likely take some time, but you might be able to contact the person who owns kredit.com or .de and see if they might be interested in this extension as well. It can be a long shot, but again you really never know. I would say you could see a 4 to 5...

What do you like and not like about Flippa

I have been looking more and more at flippa and have been noticing a lot of turnkey sites. That is ok, but it kind of muddles up the quality websites that people are trying to sell. That of course if my opinion. I think that they should further seperate their categories so that turnkey sites are...

discuss What are the best automatic appraisal systems/services today?

I personally laugh when I see someone say it is valued by Estibot at $x,xxx. I place value on real revenue, traffic and brandability. Never what an automated system says. You are right though that is what people use Estibot for. It is the hope of driving up the price because people typically...

various Sedo weekly transactions total $1 million led by 1396.com

I am going to venture a guess that 1396.com went to a chinese buyer. That seems to be the big market for numeric domains.

    Review CrackedMeUp.com

I love the domain name. I have to agree though that this type of site is oversaturated these days. Nothing is impossible though.

    domain 49 names, what's good & what sux? - ANIMESHOWS.ONLINE

Exactly what my thoughts were. I look at many of the domains with simply numbers and letters and know that I could not find a use for them. I stick with domains that make sense to me and hopefully an end user.

Love the sales page Messiah. Clean and non-cluttered.

    Looking for feedback on Simplehosting.in

The site is very clean, but maybe a bit to clean. You could improve your homepage a bit with more visual appeal. I would do this by adding a product promtion slider or image just below your header. Also I clicked your domain names link and it took me to your logicbox supersite. That is ok as it...

poll ARE THERE TO MUCH TLDs TODAY?

There are over 400 choices in extensions now. It is almost overwhelming. Some of the extensions make sense and then others I just scratch my head and wonder what they were thinking when creating them.
