Full time domainers

I am not a full timer but I have a suggestion.If you are going full time,set aside 6 months worth of living expenses+renewal money in bank.Else you may face situations to sell good domains cheap just to cover your bills.

How did you get into domaining?

Back in 2011,got an enquiry from Godaddy domain buy service for a domain registered for my personal use,sold it for $1,500.next googled for "domain name forums"and landed at NamePros.:)now it's more than a hobby.

How many hours per day do you dedicate to domaining?

Normal days - may be an hour,responding to inquiries and mostly checking Namepros,Domaining.com for updates. Days after a sale - I spend couple of hours extra to find names to backorder/participate in auctions.

Exiting is my choice. with increased competition,It became costly now a days and ROI on the time invested is not encouraging. Can't park thousands of dollars on domain names and wait for them to sell.Instead I am investing those domain dollars in my offline business,which is doing good...
