GoDaddy Discount Codes

Any working coupons for renewals out there? Everything is coming up invalid for me. GD used to regularly send me 20% or better on expiring domains. Haven't seen one of those in some time, now. :td:

So I'd like to develop the .net of a...

.com that's already developed. Stupid, or worth pursuing under the right circumstances? I should preface with the fact I've pursued the .com for years. The owner simply has no interest in selling. But I do have the .net and while it's not worth much, I value it the most in my portfolio. It...

WhoIs records: Is there a way to view "stats"

Correction: HugeDomains owns it (Equally screwed.) It looks like Dropcatch.com caught it and Dynadot was the previous registrar. I should have known one of the big domain resellers would snag it. They grab every worthless domain that I've ever dropped. 10 years later, they're still selling...

WhoIs records: Is there a way to view "stats"

I realize this could be a silly question, but hey, here it goes... Is there a way to find out how many times a WhoIs record has been viewed? Reason being, I had my eye on an expiring that's likely worth reg fee, but BuyDomains snagged it. (Imagine that). I'm holding out hope they drop it in a...

Expired domain from September 22?

Hello, Please see below for WhoIs dates and info. Forgive me, I'm not very active with domains and timelines for drops anymore, but it's been 79 days? I pulled the WhoIs directly from the registrar. It's also not listed on their auction page. When could I expect this to drop?

Cybersquatting personal names

You guys are all over the place. No, the combination of my first and last name is not common. And no, there is not anyone with my name in possession of the domain in question. It's a re-seller website as I've indicated in the original post. However, if you think $900 isn't "unreasonable" for...

Cybersquatting personal names

A few years ago, one of the reseller websites picked up the expiring .com of my personal name. They immediately jacked the price up to $900, and I refuse to play this game with them. I'm fairly confident this is classified as cybersquatting, according to the ACPA. How would I go about seeking...

Renewal coupons --- do they exist anymore?

I've always stored my domains with GoDaddy (roughly 10 years and counting) and can remember never having to pay more than $8 to renew domains. They would practically BEG you to renew your expirations with coupons. Now, they charge for the convenience and my portfolio isn't large enough to...

Coupon friendly registrars for renewals?

I'm no pro by any means. I have a pretty small portfolio (like, 10-15, max) and it's always been with GD. Seems like they've nixed renewal coupons completely. Any reputable registrars out there still allowing coupons on renewals? .com and .net, only.

.net: to renew or let drop?

it's worthless to me but hypothetically speaking, so would "google" once upon a time. why drop it if I may have a potential buyer in the immediate future? That's just my philosophy. The reseller in question used private reg, so no dice there. I honestly don't think they'll buy the .net unless...

.net: to renew or let drop?

I recently sold a .com via Godaddy auction and I'm stuck with the .net. what I'm asking is, is it worth renewing a .net in hopes it will be purchased by the same party? It expires at the end of March. FYI, it's a reseller that purchased it, if that factors into the grand scheme of things.

How Do You Beat HugeDomains and BuyDomains in the Drop Game?

HD recently picked up a fairly worthless name I let drop from my port and has it for sale @ $1,495  Anyone know if they buy from domainers, directly? I have some more reg. fee "gems" for them.

discuss The bitcoin thread

Kicking myself for not jumping on this when advised to a year ago. And wt:!: is up with MtGox? I tried verifying my account well over a month ago and still, no dice. I wanted to jump in when they were in the 6xx range. I had a feeling they'd jump in price.

Selling on GoDaddy (Premium Listing)

Just got an email that I sold a domain here. They've changed nameservers and it shows as pending payout. Could anyone with experience verify the 5 day payout window they advertise?

Alternative to "Reseller Hosting"?

Thanks for the input. I can honestly say I have no use for a reseller account, even @ $15. Had I known that I could host my entire portfolio with a regular account, I would have never upgraded. I've been paying $24 for features I can get for $8/month. What's even more annoying is that they're...

Alternative to "Reseller Hosting"?

I've come to the realization I'm overpaying for my Host Gator package. I use the minimum $24 package, but never come close to hitting the allotted disk space or bandwidth. I technically only operate one website, but my entire portfolio has landing pages. Are there any good US alternatives...

domain Joe Budden .com

Are you even reading my posts? Synopsis: 1) I've talked to Joe directly. 2) It's been offered and he doesn't want it. 3) He has my e-mail, and he has my number. 4) If someone else wants it, it will be for sale.

domain Joe Budden .com

Someone is squatting on my government name. Doesn't bother me at all. And I'm sure dropping it would help. Surely it will sit there until "a real Joe Budden" logs into his registrar and purchases it. Joe knows how to get in touch with me. Can't say the same about the next person with it...
