The ability to ignore threads would be really helpful. Everything from over-priced sales threads and auctions that people keep bumping, to threads that amount to not much more than personal attacks on other folks... It would just be great to ignore threads we consider junky that keep getting...

5 Year Old Daughter Diagnosed with Leukemia...

So... I'm not usually one for this kind of stuff, but my 5 year old daughter, Phoebe, was diagnosed with Leukemia less than a week ago. We went from bouncing little girl to this in literally the blink of an eye. Watching fireworks under the stars as family on Saturday the 9/5 to Sunday...

How Safe is ESCROW.com for sellers

I name my transactions on Escrow.Com as "Push to XXXX at YYYY registrar"... So as long as I have a confirmation of the push, I've fulfilled the agreed upon transaction terms. (XXXX being the account name, YYYY being the registrar name.)

The sale of their 1 friend more than paid for them all ... so I can't hate on them thanks to their buddy... Past that, 11 months is a really long time in the domain world. I know some of those 124 are jealous of their buddy that's flying the coop. And when one domain is jealous of another...

I've suggested and continue to suggest that there's really no good reason for 6n's with poorly placed 4's or 0's to be registered at all. Far better out past 5N to get a decent patterned 7N than resort to a really bad 6N. ;) I mean people registering something like 004139.com ... I might...

6N.com CHIPS up 40% over last 10 days

I sold a mediocre 4N chip .net to a Chinese buyer in the fall for $6k ... from an unsolicited email that my spam system had tagged as spam! It was a great price for me and I quickly replaced it with a better name for 1/4 of the sale price. ... And I now respond to every single Chinese spam...

I'd just note the sales lesson here, since it's been discussed in other threads. If you get a blind offer, never accept the first offer or the buyer may back out thinking he over paid. ALWAYS counter. ;-)

Two important points: 1st: good domains are still getting good bids and going for great prices. Visually, though, a lot of what people are offering now is junk with 4's and 0's that they reg'd at the end of 6N buyout. And people are trying to flip 7N while there are still plenty to be had...
