Welcome!

This is a daily list of available domain names, I've been doing this for a little over 10 years and I find it natural to read almost every domain from the drop list on a daily basis, both while it's happening and a few hours after I let my eyes/mind rest.

If you find this thread valuable, please subscribe to it with notifications. I will commit to doing this everyday if there is enough interest.

My goals resonate with @Rob Monster 's very much - co-creating with this community, sharing my experiences, and contribute to growth as an industry through individual impact. Oftentimes we take on too much on our own and it serves nobody. In this case, I have chosen to slow my own purchasing down to a minimum in order to empower those that might not be as experienced in terms of what actually sells.

If you need help selling your inventory, I can handle all inbound inquiries on these domains and any you might decide to purchase from these lists. That includes initial contact, phone calls, and follow ups. You can send me your inventory by uploading to Google Docs and attach the link in an email/PM (Daniel at Epik dot com )

Basic Disclaimer: I am not advocating you take on risks that go against your gut instinct or that might endanger your current portfolio. My main goal is to secure your existing inventory with renewals before taking on more risk. More domains equal more risk, and perhaps more reward. Nothing is guaranteed. Please do your own due diligence about each name.

Anyway, hope you enjoy and see some value from these lists! Going with quality over quantity here.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
then you mean although new users picked names, they still show old whois info?

It may be a cached version of the record. None of these were taken upon publishing. I bulk check before posting.

Ah man, I got up to pee, and somebody beat me to it.

Not sure how, as it was a short stream.

Nonetheless, it appears somebody else saw the domain expire today, or perhaps, they saw this thread, and decided to register it with Namesilo (for 50¢ more) in the minutes between posting it was available and now.

Say it.. the least they can do is admit taking it

Hard to prove a registrant saw the domain in this thread first. It could also be a registrant had the domain in their want to buy list, and seeing this thread confirmed their instinct to register it.

However, you could match up WHOIS registration times (match the seconds) to see if any of the domain from the days list were regged on the same receipt.

e.g. If I see this thread, and bulk register 2+ domains on the same receipt. WHOIS registration times should be near identical. It's one thing to coincidentally register a name shortly after this list was published (without seeing the published list), it's a different level of coincidence if one were to register 2+ domains from the list, shortly after the list was published.

Also, I registered a domain from the list. I thanked the OP (via thank button). I don't feel like I have to mention the domain I regged. But, because I saw the domain here first, I used the provided Epik link to register it.

always assume they saw this thread reg’d and have no intention share, say “thanks Dan”

Huge discrepancy between those share/not.
it shows Dan has good eye

maybe theyre shy...

Interesting how many Dynadot registrants while Godaddy and Namesilo are missing completely. @Grilled

Agreed.

Name.com can be explained by their current $6.99 reg promo.

Lot's of Dynadot regs. And for those, I'd be curious to see how WHOIS reg times of those compare to (a) the publish time of this thread (b) against the reg times of other domains regged from the thread.

And one was registered with Namesilo, after I posted an updated list, while I was taking a pee, and before I could return to register it. (That ah hah 💡 moment when peeing, and then it's like hurry up stream, I gots a domain to register! Oh Cool it, you have time to pee... What, it's registered now? And at Namesilo? What?! I didn't have time to pee?! 🤦‍♀️)

Whenn peeing or doing other things using hands I always wear my VR glasses connected to my PC. My best regs come from that technique. You may avoid to visit my bathroom.

Thought so. Interesting the even cheaper, new competitor is missing, too. (Too lazy to check his name now.)

Exciting. Interesting would be also to analyse all results from the beginning of this thread, just regarding the ranking of Registrars. Should be a work of a few minutes.

I registered bud / jane. I have previously registered domains after seeing them on Dan’s list then thanked him (via button) or posted them but got distracted after registering yesterday. The bud / jane name stood out to me immediately after Dan’s initial post but when I checked at GoDaddy it came back as unavailable. I checked it again at Namesilo (where I was already logged in) after @Grilled posted and was able to get it.

I have also lost out on some good hand regs after taking some time to make a final decision so it’s interesting to be on the other side this time and learn just how close I came to not getting this domain. Once I put a domain in my cart at Dynadot, paused to answer the phone and it was registered within a 3 minute delay…AT DYNADOT! Of course I was convinced someone who works for Dyndot took it but I guess the promotion they were running at the time could explain why it was registered at the very same registrar where I was checking out.

Thanks to Dan and Grilled and Happy Holidays to everyone :).

Dec 25 2019

Merry Christmas to everyone who follows this thread, I hope you took some time to enjoy the company of family and friends. Took WebmasterExpo (com) but I missed my target name for the day unfortunately, someone from Nigeria grabbed it. It goes to show the domains never sleep! Even on holidays like today, you have to stay consistent and diligent. Some others on my list were taken before I had a chance to publish so the list is shorter by about 10 names.

Might start reading the drops a few days ahead again to do some backorder lists, if there is interest please let me know.

Happy hunting!
