Hello I was wondering if it's safe to sell domains on eBay? From my past experience selling digital goods on ebay the seller is not protected and a lot of times the buyer can do a charge back because there is no tracking number to show proof of delivery like with physical goods. Is it different selling domains on ebay compared to other digital goods? Is the seller protected? Thanks!

I have sold around 8 domains - no problem.

Do you have any tips on how to sell domains on eBay? Like how to protect yourself from chargebacks?

Also, what max. price are you comfortable with selling on eBay?

(Also, do you suggest selling domains internationally on eBay?)

One could take a screen shot of transfer codes and authorization codes if you had a charge back I would think. I just scored a good deal on indexes.info from a guy in Panama last night on Ebay. He was super good about getting the transfer codes. I had reviewed his feedback before bidding. Actually started on a website for it today. Give it a seo boost.

Selling brandable names on eBay seems to work quite well for me.

I have used eBay for a few brandables, and sold a few between xxx to low x,xxx figures.

With only a 10% fee, that is lower than the majority of domain marketplaces.

I'll gladly pay 10% to eBay, to sell my domains for me.

Try it, people usually don't file disputes if you deal with the right people, and deliver the domain as promised.

It is relatively safe in my opinion.
