The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
IMO you should probably try and sell a .TOP domain before you purchase more. This might help you change your focus and save you a huge loss of income in the future if you continue with registering assumptions?

I will always feel for those who loose a lot of cash...

I remember a while back losing about $5k+ in hand reg rubbish when I first started in my first year. I'm lucky its a hobby and I learned from it very quickly after my first year.

I really hope others can be a lot wiser than I was...

Thank you, I know what I do.
Sorry for your loss, I hope you do it better today + future.
I recommend you to register trademedomains.top

We know, domaining is a long term investment.
And as you may know, I believe .top domains will rule the market someday, so I don't worry.
Here is one of my newest catches >>> erster.top | 'erster' is the german word for 'the first one'

According to this thread's theme, here is another 63 DOMAIN
wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow.top

We can see, you own many short domains - so if you like, share your longest domain here.

All these joke threads you create are probably fun for you, but you are also harming those new to domaining. If they listen to you, they will throw money away on low quality names.

No, I don't create joke threads (maybe funny answers from time to time but always with a true core).
Yes, I have fun to be real yeahhh because I love creativity - also in domaining.
If my threads are funny for you, then that's great, you are welcome.

My domains are super high quality premium names in my eyes - fully equal what you are meaning or thinking about them because I know that your criticism against me / my threads / my domains are nothing more than your way of thinking - which I respect - but please accept that I think in another way.

Your 'insinuation' that 'I am harming those which are new to domaining' is ridiculous - we are all grown ups with legal capacity (everybody on nP has given his agreement to the rules of nP and everybody who gave an agreement have legal capacity) - so your trying to put me in a 'bad corner' is really not correct behaviour - but anyway, I don't care - I have a clean conscience.

I could say 'you are harming the way of new domainers which have the will to think outside the box' and 'if new domainers listen to you, they will never go their own ways in creativity' - but I prefer to use my time to think about new ways / domains.

And to be clear, I just share my own way of domaining here on nP and I appreciate it, if someone is discussing it with me (like currently you) but no one have to follow me (or you), everybody can read what I (or you) write and wrote and everybody have to find out his own way.

So, back to the thread's theme - let me ask you - what do you think, why is it possible to create domain names with 63 characters?
What's 'your problem' with those endless cool 63 domains?
What is your own longest domain?

I think those are the real questions now ;)

BTW Another (not my own) cool 63 DOMAIN is coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool.cool

No problem about the loss as it was good learning but expensive at the time... I have more than recovered my losses and I sell 2-5 domains a months $100 - $500 and now I always ensure I have enough to cover my purchases and renewals...

The major thing i have learned is its easy to buy a domain name of win on the domain drops. The challenge is to sell names and make ROI... Once you can master the art of selling it will make domaining much more enjoyable... :)

IMO 90% of first time domainers will loose money in their first year.

It's good that you see long term potential in .TOP but for other newbies into the industry I would only recommend .com domains. Master the art of buying and selling in .com and then maybe look at nGTLDs and give a few extensions a try? The may be some case where they can purchase a few single word nGTLDs and do some research to on-sell? I would also look at the renewals and ensure it isnt a premium and wouldnt keep any more than 10 nGTLDs starting off...

Thanks for your opinion but IMO trademedomains.TOP would be a waste of money as I don't see any return on investment with it.

I just let TradeMe.Domains drop as there was no need for it and it was only for one of my online sites.

However if I was to invest into .TOP it would be for quick flips and there is money to be made with N,NN,NNN & L,LL,LLL .TOP domains if you have the ability to sell on Jiangsu Bangning, 4.cn or maybe Namejet and buy at a very low price. It doesnt matter what gtld extention you own it can always be a challenge but you will have a better chance sell .com than other extentions.

I also have a nGTLD extension I believe in for the future but I don't promote it openly due to some newbies I often chat with may try and spend money in the wrong extensions to start with.

If you owned 8.TOP 88.TOP 888.TOP China.TOP ABC.TOP CC.TOP WON.TOP GG.TOP TTT.TOP or other similar type of names you would be taken a lot more seriously and especially if you have sales...

Best of luck with you ventures :)

These are the type of .TOP domains you want to own at low deal prices...

I don't need 8.top because I own
888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888.top

I am convinced that someday the longest 8 / .top version will be much more valuable than the shortest 8 / .top version.
Future is my business partner and my business partner says I simply have to be patient.

If you will continue using your website I really recommend you again to register trademedomains.top
Many big companies registering their name in .top (currently of course primarely as brand protection, but I think some will switch from their .com to their .top in future - believe it or not).

Pleace notice that this thread is a thread about the longest domains we own - so it would be welcome if you share your longest domain/s here instead of discussing about .top although I appreciate it.
And thanks, best of luck with your domains too!

That's true - and 'the art of posting' is to post in accordance with the threads theme ;)
So - what's your (currently registered) longest domain?

IMO I thought they were really long but thought they might have some value?

I've come to find most domains over 10 characters are too long from a company standpoint of view. I see it from the view of would the domain also work as a company email address unless it's just for a website project?

You definitely win for the longest domain names and may have the most out of any domainer I know ;)

I will admit there is something artsy about it. :alien3:

Do you have to count each time you enter it? If my cat walks across the keyboard it will go far beyond 63 characters. I don't know if I could count every time. Also you would lose alot of traffic because if one letter is missed, they will go to a 404 for sure.

Funny enough, I just typed in aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.com and something actually came up. Wait, let me count.....35 characters only.

The longest domain I own is 12345678910abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz.com . That's only 36 characters and I regged it for fun.

Good luck with your investment strategy in long domains.

Yesterday, I saw on domainpunch that org.........org(org*21).pro was registered. Guess what, my first thought was "It must be Mueller". Checking on whois, I laughed.
Mueller, you are the spokesman for 63 domains now. Although you are called crazy, like when Rick and Frank were 16 years ago, maybe, maybe, someday we will see your true success on this. Good luck.

Be to convinced to register a 63 domain is not easy, even for the newest domainers. So I won't worry about that. Relax, have fun and not buying. :D

Thank you all.

63 DOMAINS are not made for typical use - they are p/art of other names or can be used as Marketing.
The best 63 DOMAINS are just made to sh/ow/n them - like art in a gallery = web

It's not really hard to handle a 63 DOMAIN - just write it one time then c/p.

Also registered yesterday:
neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.net
biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiz.biz

Those type of 63 domains could be called 'stretched' 63 DOMAINS haha yeah
I know those domains very strange but strange domains are also part of the web - like strange creatures are part of the sea.

If you will ever create an 63 DOMAIN you are all welcome to share / 'promote' it here - than maybe others will be interested in it if it is a good one!
There are many possibilities with 63 characters.
All the best for your ideas!
