New site and AdSense

Hey all, just a quick question and advice. Started a new website and decided to give AdSense a go, so applied for it, and thought I'd get all the coding done before doing a major update of the site (Current site only has about 5 pages on it, instead of the 17 currently waiting to go live this weekend....)

Anyways, got email from Google saying my site basically my site is not established enough yet. Did some more updates and re-applied to Google about 4 days ago, still have not heard anything from them.

Should I go ahead with the upgrade of the site and then re-apply? Do I need a certain amount of traffic before they will allow my site? I've only got about 350 the 1st week it's been live, Google and Yahoo crawling site already...rank of about 4,000,000 in alexa so far....What else do I need to do?

How old is the domain? I understand that domains now have to be at least 6 months old and active before being accepted for Adsense. Could that be the issue?

I think site should be at least 6 months old or it should have indexed well. Its better let it graw few months before reply. Also if you have an old site use that. Even a good blogger account would get you accepted.

Ahhh, that will probably be the problem. Thanks, will try to restart it with my domain that is about 9 years old, hopefully that will get their attention! Is Adsense REALLY that good though?

Opps, forgot to say my domain is about 3 weeks old, so that's probably the problem!!

I would suggest that you go ahead with the upgrade of the site and then re-apply. Who knows, google may reconsider it.
