What are four number .coms worth seems like all registered.
Thank you
I have been tracking the sales of as many of these as possible, mainly through the drop markets at Enom and Namewinner.
For the most part, they are being won with bids between $30 and $60, although a few are snagged at $20 and others going into the $XXX range. Most -but not all- of the ####.coms that I have seen go for $XXX or more were either really special or were picked up by Elequa in public auctions.
There are a few different angles on these that might give each domain special significance and make it more desirable:
1) The digits may correspond to words using a phone dial pad (see
worddial.com). Every major keyword has already been registered in its numeric equivalent, including lengthy words like business (287746377.com) or Microsoft (642767638.com).
2) The digits may represent a historical year (1969.com, 2054.com, etc.)
3) The digits may have a sequential or repeating pattern. 1616.com sold for $520 and 4944.com sold for $310.
4) The digits may have meaning in other languages. Patterns with multiple 3s or 8s following 6s are coveted by the Chinese. And certain numbers represent characters in Arabic. Here's an article about a fellow who paid $215,000 for a cell phone number with all 3s in it:

LOL.
