Nominet has banned new registrations of rape domains and suspended existing ones. This kind of ban would not likely happen in the U.S., but I'm glad to see some sensibility here. Read more:
This is a bit of a caveat when it comes to owning ccTLDs; you register them at your peril, for the registry can make its own rules, and you better know what they are.
Evidently, the UK has some laws on the books about inciting against the government, so (theoretically) revolution-type domains could also be suspended.
