Hi

just think of how much time you could save,
if you didn’t care how many tlds are registered.
thats one less metric, on the list of metrics, that you wouldn’t have to check

does the buyer, other than another domainer, ever ask “how many other tlds are registered for this domain”?

No, but if you track sales then you'd notice that there is a pretty obvious correlation between sales price and TLDs registered.

TLD count is useful. I’d still want to know whether people are actually using those names, or just registering and parking them.

there are only a few extensions for a keyword that will be owned by someone other than a domainer/

domainers are creating these metrics and the services that supply them grow value, as an “asset “ to the “industry “.

have you been tracking the number of new contestants vying for a spot on marketplace row, and along domain appraisal street?
