Got my first CC ever today: Blogosphere.CC I love it!
Also, placed a BiN on one CC, on TDNAM. Patiently waiting to see if I get that niiiice one for $5.

I thought it was spelled that way. Guess the "h" must be a silent letter.

$18/year is expensive renewals? Only if you reg crap names.

Develop a website on that name. Develop it smart!
In 3-5 months, my websites got to PR5.
Now, they pay for themselves through ads, and even make profit.
It's all about what you do with that name.

Thanks! I've put it on auction. If the auction is not successful, I'm really considering to develop. Already got the scripts. All it needs is good design and some promotion.

Just sold F8 .cc in Sedo auction.

I was hoping to go for more than $500 but it was sold for only $310

Not exactly going to provide a retirement fund for you, but given that i can't even get a single bid on Sedo, that sale was maybe not even half bad!

Really. .cc is a struggling tld. Of course there are some exceptions, but the only real way for you increase your domain's value is to develop them.

I agree.

I couldn't even sell some solid keywords under .CC and the only one I sold was move .cc for $100.

Geo name seems to be okay in .CC so I end up taking PapuaNewGuinea .cc

Good News for all of you who like .cc

Trees.cc (isn't/wasn't mine) closed at $139 on TDNAM as an expired auction. That is I think the most I have ever seen an expired .cc name sell for on the aftermarket.

I believe I saw smokes.cc go for $180 at auction on TDNAM (plus reg fee) a while back. It was also expired.

I've had a couple strong keywords for a few years, but have picked up a number of them in the past year. I really don't think you can go wrong with a strong keyword.cc if you can get them for a reasonable price.
