Hello, can someone please post the deletion cycle of .in domains?

So if a domain's expiry is today. When does it delete and become available. In how many days?

My wife's last name (fairly unpopular) is dropping and I thought it will be cool to get brownie points from the not-so-tech savvy in-laws

Also, is there a method to drop catch .in domains? Snapnames? NameJet? GoDaddy?
