I own a domain name and it has 78 years to expire, and I use it as my mailbox.

I just want to know how long your mailbox will expire?

I didn't renew, I just acquired it pay for high $XX, and then I found it to be permanent. To this end I have other names with the same suffix WHOIS, and found that only I am like this, I picked up a gem.:0

I'm thinking if this is a .WS promotion to sell TLD inventory.

Is .ws the only TLD that allows longer than 10 yr registrations?

As I know - 10 year limit is only for gTLDs.
ccTLDs can set any rules they want.

This is my only domain that expires in more than 10 years, and I usually renew 1-2 years for the valuable domains in my portfolio.:-D

If the company with the extension goes broke in 3 years you will lose 75 years.

In 78 years WS builds economic success on lowest price registrations and renewals become the 2100 Dubai of domains lol.

A lot can happen in 78 years, that's for sure. 78 years ago there were no domains or Internet. Duck Tape got invented by the military to hold down @iowadawg who had just learned how to escape his crib, and 78 years ago was right before a 3 year project to build this puppy:

called the Eniac, a computer the size of a room.

Inconceivable where we'll be 3/4's of a century from today, and whether even domains will be relevant in the way we know them today. The registries will have to honor the expires though, yes yes, have those domains resolve to the holospheres or whatever we'll be using to connect to one another.
