I got a few mental health domain names. I belive asia population is more than half of the world's population and there are millions of mental health patients.

I suppose 100K from the beginning of the Open registration.
Considering the landrush period and sunrise, the overall number of domain name applications could be 600k till now.

Hey everyone still lots of good .Asia names out there! I just registered incubus.asia which has 9,998 searches daily according to wordtracker.

I am probably done registering names so here is a good one that is still available:

gargoyle.asia (457 searches daily) & a good generic name too! 3,1 million Google results on Google.

I see a lot of crappy names being registered at a time when there are still good generic words available out there so be careful what you register and don't waste your money!!!

A generic or premium in .com isn't going to have the same affect nor will it be valued in the same way. Also consider the searches are for US / English traffic in most cases. So don't go by just one or the other when it comes to generic one words and searches.

Two keywords are better than most of the single words that are left out there. So be careful and do some research before you jump to registering something.

for as many .asia haters there are... damn there sure are a lot registered. i went through about 4500 of the most common dictionary terms. about 95% of those were taken.

True to some extent, but don't forget the fact that much of Asia was under the British Empire i.e. India - the second largest English speaking country in the world, plus Australia & New Zealand are English speaking countries. China is heavily censored to begin with, but all in all I think generic words to some extent are the best way to go if you can't get geographical names. If .Asia only becomes 1/20th the value of a .com then I will still be happy and that is being optimistic!

They are indeed useless but they are hardly "dictionary terms". A dictionary term would be FOLLOW (not FOLLOWS), PLAN (not PLANNED), ENTER (not ENTERED) etc.
