Thanks D-K :)
Believe it or not I didn't buy them at first, they have been on a long list of mine for about 2 weeks. I have been chipping away at the list little by little.

If you need help later selling these to banks - let me know I've sold quite a few to banks around the world ( none nfc domains )- I can give you there direct contact info to the hostmasters if those banks are using NFC and Tap in the future.

That way you can see which banks don't mind buying from us domainers

caught -

PhoneTicket.com

Not sure who own - www.PhoneTicket.de , I have never heard of them before.

I am going to attempt to sell this by contacting end-users and Mobile Ticketing Companies.

Cheers

Did anyone notice about 2 months ago that TapPal.com sold for $3495
And TapShare.com sold 4 months ago for $3500?
I searched all of NP there was no mention of either one of those two sales.

TapShare looks to be a file sharing app but the one that interest me the most is TapPal.
It looks like Namecheap bought it and now owns it.

Now I would have thought there would have been a possible TM issue with that one because of PayPal, but I can only assume there isnt because I would also have to assume that Namecheap bought knowing all to well the Mobile Wallet possibilities with that name, why else buy it now?

And if it is ok to use that domain as a Mobile Wallet then the seller sold way to cheap.

Thoughts?
:)

@lennco

I would say that around the $3500 mark for a Tap domain is a nice sale, I would be happy with that for most of my Tap names.

Cheers

I can see that for a good Tap domain right now but great ones like TapPal should fetch far more and I bet Namecheap is thinking the same thing.
As this technology becomes more popular I bet good/great names will start to fetch more and more money.

I wouldn't be surprise if TapPal sold for $35k or more this year.
Someone sooner or later will raise the bar.
Who knows, it maybe one of us ;)

Thanks, but If anyone wants to pay me the right money for the domain, they could use it for a condom brand for all I care mate ;)

I was just suggesting broadening your "scope" as you said you were actively contacting people.

I don't care if you don't sell it all, mate ;)

I'm even more surprised that Tap'nBank.com is even legal.

I originally searched for DigitalWallet.ca last month and it was available [I have my history]
but didn't reg it [slaps self]
and of course, now it's gone [kudos]

so, I got MyDigitalWallet.ca instead.
I envision an information site about what they are
and how they work - and where to get the services.

The condom reference makes SO MUCH MORE SENSE now. I didn't know what you were talking about with PhoneTicket.com

Now it's actually funny :hehe:

My only NFC domain

I checked to see if some decent NFC/Tap/Wallet names were still available-and I can tell you there are sooo many reg'd! Geez! :D

I didn't check to buy, just wanted to compile a list of available names and post them here. :)

However, I checked to see if there were any decent LNFC domains available in .NET (and .Org). In .NET, there were only two available, and a few seconds later when I refreshed the page, one of them got snapped up! :o

The one that I saw a few weeks ago, but never took was the other one which was left, and decided to take it because I knew this dude was gonna take it.

I am not sure if you guys heard of this before... but it happens a lot-you check for a name, it's available, and a few seconds later-it's gone!

QNFC.NET was the one that was snapped up.

The one I actually wanted and took is:

ONFC.NET

So all LNFC.Net are gone as of today!

In .Org, there are only four left:

FNFC.ORG
NNFC.ORG
YNFC.ORG
ZNFC.ORG
