I noticed that domain investor Mike Mann posted another five figure sale yesterday. According to his Facebook page, he has sold TripBeat.com for $18,000 after purchasing it four years ago for $80. This week, we published part one of an analysis of Mike's sales, which has received great feedback so far. we shall be publishing part two of the analysis very soon.

The Most Expensive Domain Sold by An Individual Domainer?
Domain investor @DomainsMaster asked the community this week whether there had been any six or seven figure sales from individual investors, rather than companies or brands. On the face of it, this isn't a very interesting question since we know that many individual investors produce six and seven figure sales every year. Take Rick Schwartz as an example.
This discussion did, however, given other investors the opportunity to tell the community about their own high value domain sales. The conversation, linked above, includes someone who sold a domain for $1.1 million and several investors that have sold names for six figure fees.

Is Domaining Harder Than Trading Stocks?
Domain name investing and stocks have been compared directly in the past. During the peak of China's domain investing activity in 2015, those comparisons were clear, with investors treating four-letter .COMs in a way that was far more similar to stock trading than traditional domain investing.
But is domain investing harder than trading stocks? Both have their own positives and negatives, and both have their own individual challenges, but opinion seems to be split on whether domain name investing is more difficult than trading stocks.

Why Has Parking Revenue Declined?
In the past, parking was a steady source of income for many investors, and the potential parking earnings often influenced domain sales prices amongst investors. In recent years, the money that investors earn through parking has declined. Why is that?
The question has been asked by @Hypersot, and many theories have been given as to why most of us have seen a decline in parking revenue. Theories include visitors switching to mobile use and advertisers undervaluing traffic directly from domains.

NameSilo Joins Afternic
GoDaddy's @Joe Styler made the announcement on NamePros this week that NameSilo had agreed to join Afternic, the popular domain name market that is now owned by GoDaddy. Within his announcement, Joe told investors that he hoped they would be able to take advantage of this new partnership.
NameSilo (@namesilo) contributed to the discussion by telling investors that they had already seen several sales closed thanks to the partnership with Afternic.

How Long Should I Continue to Renew a Domain?
Portfolio management is a skill that is often overlooked. Knowing which domain names to renew and which to discard is incredibly important; having high renewal bills and minimal sales is a something that cannot be continued for long.
According to the discussion, the general consensus is that it all depends on the domain name, with indicators of the domain's popularity coming from enquiries, traffic and even WHOIS lookups.
