Hi.

Im looking for a 'brand free' (not Google etc) basic search script for my website. Preferably something that installs itself cos I aint brilliant with web design yet lol.

I just need it to find results for search phrases such as Amazon, Amrican Express, HSBC, London etc.

The results don't have to go to a specific related page. Just a results page.

Any hints / tips would be deeply appreciated.

Thanks noswad :hi:

You could hire someone to do it, that wouldnt hurt but i might cost a bit, and what type of site are you actually trying to make?

Just go to hotscripts.com and search for a search fundction script for your website. Choose the one that suits you the most!

Thanks for the replies. I opted for Hotscripts in the end an installed 'maian search'. It uses back end MySQL and PHP and self installed itself just abouts.

It's absolutely perfect for what I need.

Thanks again.
