domain Xbox Name Domains

I originally tried to sell them here, with no avail. I do a lot of design work promoting Microsoft Xbox games (in exchange for games / xboxes from their PR company), and got the low-down on NHL Rivals (a new video game they're releasing this fall). I ran to the registry and snagged the following URLs before they even THOUGHT of it.

http://www.nhlrivals.com
http://www.nhlrivals2004.com

The brand is called NHL Rivals, and the year of this game is 2004, so the actual game name is NHL Rivals 2004

(much like, Madden NFL 2004, or EA Sports NHL 2004)

It's part of Microsoft's new XSN Sports label, which currently has 6 games, all of which the .com/.net/.orgs appear to be taken, .com for sure.

I feel it's got some incredible potential for type-ins, and if the owner puts referral links to EBGames.com, and BestBuy.com to pre-order / order NHL Rivals, there is money to be had.

I already talked to my people at Arbuthnot (Microsoft's PR Company), and they assured me Microsoft would not forcefully demand this name back, there are no existing trademark infringements, if anything, they will make a low-ball offer for it, and pray I accept.

Let's hear what you think...

Heh, Ever since I registered it I've been waiting for Bill Gates to come to my house and "Buy me Out" Simpsons style (if any of you have seen that episode, where he buys out homers internet company by destroying his office), moohaha.

Anyhow, back on topic here Let's hear some appraisals (if you dare)

This domain will probably be worth $200 because even .net domain game names can generate 1000 unique hits a day if they are straight on the back of the game name.

I've got interest from Microsoft, and I'm waiting for them to call me. It's pretty complicated, but in a nutshell, they have nothing on me trademark wise, and I have a business attorney in case they try anything, it's apparent they are going to try and buy the name off me.

The use of the NHL Trademark would qualify as fair use as well.
