Well, there are at least three benefits I have realized already from DNOA that may interest you as well:
1) increases your credibility (I closed on an xxx sale for the primary reason I was a DNOA member. The buyer was very leery of online transactions and my membership at DNOA reassured him I was legit).
2) you get free domain privacy (the membership fee is much cheaper than buying it individually for each domain)
3) you get a reduced price for DRT software (a great tool for organizing your portfolio)

Sorry SurferTalk but that could say a # of things. From them being unsure about the organization, to being thrifty, to being poor, to being cautious, to being independent, etc... etc... Let's not make assumptions about people just 'cause they don't join. They will in time

I'll admit I was unsure whether it was worth it to join, but when I read all of the member benefits it seemed like a no brainer.

Now for the last four points...

If they're thrifty, they'd join because of the discounts.
If they're poor, they'd join because of discounts on tools that could make them richer.
If they're cautious, they'd join because they see the trust it has built among association members and those outside of the association (see post #10).
If they're independent, they're independent. It doesn't mean they can't become a member. Many independent people join associations to bring credibility to what they do.

I'm sorry but joining or not joining an organization says nothing about a seller. Some just don't see the point & are ok without it. This doesn't make them any less of a seller.
