Hi Lyte, the only company I'm aware of still offering them is NameSecure. Their pushes aren't the easiest as you have to contact customer service and it took me about a week when I had to transfer one with them once. They are good though if you are just wanting them for yourself and the push system is just an inconvenience, nothing too major. :tu:

Good luck! :)

The free .info's are long gone, many companies had them available in September. However only some companies still offer them but I'm not to sure.

DOTEASY.com is offering 1 FREE .info WITH FREE HOSTING (YES, FREE!)
for a year.

Not sure about "pushes" etc., but if you want to do a site and don't want to
spend any money this year - NICE DEAL!

If you encounter any difficulties finding the offer, PM me. I have a promo link.

Where did you here that? I heard just the opposite. :-/
Although theit interface takes some getting used to, I am having smooth running w/ them, thus far.
They are spending alot on advertising, this month, that's for sure. They have a multi page center spread in the latest issue of PC Magazine, although that doesn't necessarily prove anything.

[Addendum]-> Just looked at a couple of threads concerning them, and I see that there are mixed opinions, but nothing terribly damning, at all, and several positive comments.

How is the ownership transfer process at 1and1? I've never used them before.
