I listed a name on Sedo on saturday and on sunday I received an email saying the name was sold!
~
Problem was I has listed a LNNN name with a 0 instead of an o and the buyer snapped up a prospective bargain
~
I had to reply to sedo and explain there was a mistake and that I thought their verification process would have picked it up before becoming a sale
~
Have you had any whoops moments?

Interesting. I have never had that experience, but I guess it is really unusual, since as you suggest, their verification process is supposed to match the Whois information with your profile (email).

I guess your experience will help them prevent future errors.

I am surprised as most times if there is doubt a name is not verified, let alone sold?

I thought everybody new Sedo's verification sucks, in both directions. Keep us informed how Sedo handle this.

They have cancelled the sale, I did not manually verify, i just listed and was happy to wait the day or two it takes, but the sale was almost instant, I did feel bad for the buyer, no doubt disappointed

At least they had some sense to do the right thing. Not always the case.
