Which name would you register?

Hello I know dot com is the best domain to buy but what if a name you want is already register but dot net, org, info etc is open. What name would you register if these domain names are available? Keep in mind that the value for the domain name will increase in the future. what name would you register no matter what if dot net, org, etc.... is open

Yup. After the .com, the extension the general public trusts the most is .org. Its got a warm feeling

Btw, I'm saying this from a general perspective. If the name or product is centric to a particular country, then things would change, of course. London.co.uk would be better than London.org.

Why would you register a .org when surely a .net is a lot more valuable.

Of course it could be charityshoeshop, then surely .org is much more suitable, but as I said "generally" .net is better.

I would totally rebrand and get the dot com of a new name, you will soon realize why in the future if you don't now.

.net or .org, but if its a mobile site then .mobi. I definitely wouldnt get .info. If it is available in all the extensions except .com then I would pick a different name. It is probably not generic and you would lose traffic to the .com or the .com owner might be able to win the name from you.

But don't shun the .tv or .mobi if it's keyword relevant.
