Which ext best for development when .com is gone.

A particular collectible where the .com & net are parked for PPC. The .us is at DoDaddy. That leaves .org, .info & .biz. He is not fond of org so between info/biz which would be best.

Develop a site for buying/selling these items. Do an SEO thing and trade publication advertising. Can't decide or maybe registar both but then which for 'real' site and which to park.

overture for aaa bbbbbb = high x,xxx
overture for aaabbbbbb.com = mid xxx

The site would not produce large $$$ as it will be a hobby business. A friend wants to do this based on how my RVP site operates.

Any input appreciated.

.biz would be better IMO, however the .info TLDs enjoy quite a large increase in popularity lately. I'd suggest .biz for a commercial site or .info for a content site. Or get both if he can aford it.

Since it will be a hobby business, and not making a lot of $$$, then perhaps the .info is more appropriate in this case.

Seriously, I believe org should not be underestimated even if your friend doesn't like it as an extension (I don't like org either!). However, for some people org is their next choice after com and net.

Thanks. All 3 arguments make sense. $26.85 to reg all three isn't that much. Under $200/year for reg + hosting and couple bucks to put up a site aint to bad for an 'ego stroke' site to do a bit of buying and selling stuff you love & who knows he might hit a good one.
I turned down a low xx,xxx offer recently for my little baby that I bought for 1 large in 2000.

I would go for .us or another country code. But .org and .info are becoming larger and if you ask the average person what extensions they know they say com, org, gov, net, edu, and if your lucky info.

But yet most people think .org right after .com.
