The whole advantage of digg is to get your article to the front and when you do you will be bombared, literally with traffic! Therefore people are willing to pay you to get their and get their story read etc

Does Digg actually benefit your website? I think it just eats up your bandwidth. Users come, read the article, and leave. If anyone has gotten any of their websites dugg, please share your story with us.

My website, which is not even an article, got dugg.
Search for 'restaurant selector' on google and you will see the digg story.

I got about 25,000 hits in one day, made around $15 in adsense revenue. However, because my site is limited till 5,000 hits per day until I get my database setup, I had to put up a mirror, and still could not show my page to all the users.

Before digg I was averaging around 50 hits a day, I am at 237 for the month of july, and I've already made more in adsense this month then I did all of june(with the exception of the last day, when my site got dugg).

when you got certain number of diggs as set by admin (clicks) on your submitted news it gets to the frontpage for more exposure. i have once an article submitted by another person which gave me 5,000 clicks/visits to the said page where the full article is placed.
