What's a nicely developed site worth?

Hey all, i was woundering what a nicely developed site was worth. a nice domain, a few thousand users on a forum, getting nice hits and page rank and so on. how do people price developed sites? domain name worth + 6 months of site income or somthing? -+ depending on potenshial?

My site was very nicely developed - lots of uniques, active forum, great name. I was making about $25/week (around $100/mo) on advertising and I couldn't even sell the site for $600 - which is only 1/2 year of revenue. A lot of people will put it at a year or even 1 1/2 years, not even counting potential for growth.

Moral of the story is it all depends on who you can find. Since I had a wrestling site I had a hard time finding someone else interested in wrestling to buy it.

i guess it is a buyers market! if buyer feels there is great potiential. i am willing to pay up to six months revenue. they is also a problem of "trust". whether the stats are accurate or just "pump" up!! lots of scam going around!!

as "the equivocate" said its all up to the buyer to get a ball park figure 6 months of income is a pretty solid guess.

thats what i was thinking. if it had a 5k domain on it thow would it be the domain + 6 months revenue?
