I'm interested in registering some names in these tld's but I would like to know:

# Are there any things I need to know, i.e. can't transfer, resell, have to live in country etc?

# If you know of any special pricing on them?

Out of those, I only have experience with .BZ, which can be registered or owned by anyone inside or outside of Belize.

They usually run upwards of $20/year -- nothing fancy for "premium" names.

Some info on all the country TLDs at TLDV.com - but do not count on it too much - it is my site and I have not updated it in a while. Often registrars make you certify that you live in a country before they sell you a domain with that requirement.

Be aware that there are few sales of obscure country TLDs - check out NameBio.com.

I would start at Moniker for pricing.

You can own all of these without living in their countries.
.ch and .li can be picked up from local registrars for quite cheap but you'll have to shop around as the only .ch I now own is with Eurosnd.com (simply for consolidation purposes). Eurodns are quite expensive, but do issue coupons every now and again.

For .bz, .gs, .ms and .vg I'd look Moniker, Domainsite, idotz.net and maybe GoDaddy for .ms. (Although I think namebargain.com -an eNom reseller were cheapest on .gs when last I owned one)

As a rule I would not advise investing in exotic TLDs because the local market is non-existent and sales are rare.
I believe all the TLDs you quoted have no restriction.

Personally I would pick .ch (Switzerland), I actually own a few. The TLD is well developed and it's a mature, albeit limited market. I would pass on .li (neighboring Liechtenstein) => very small country and market except if you want matching .ch/.li pair.
The others are usually used as vanity TLDs...

yeah switzerland is always known as a trustworth & reputable country, I never realized that ch was from there...

Well I'm still trying to decide if I should take a gamble and invest in a couple of generic one word very popular names that are available.

So the names I want are as follows: (best prices found at moniker all for $26-28 each)
xxxx.vg
xxxx.ms
xxxx.gd
xxxx.ch

So what do you think, is it worth it or am I just wasting my time?

the other thing is that I can't recall seeing any websites with these tld's coming up on Google results or maybe I just have never noticed them? Is there any issues there?

xxxx? No. Great keyword with high results? Yes.

lol, no the word is not xxxx, that was just meant to be a placeholder for the real name.. Actually the names I want have more than four letter but are one word generic names.

Haha, I thought you meant xxxx. Then you gotta see if the keyword's good enough...

well I know the keyword is one of the top keywords you can get right now, not sex or business but pretty close... my question is : is it worth buying them or are they basically worthless and I would get no pages indexed from google and hardly any visitors even if I did all the promotion & design perfectly?

I only use two from the list for my hacks

.gs and .ms

are .TL domains any worth? like <countryname>.tl?

Google cares little, if at all, what the TLD is. However a freshly-registered domain in any TLD will be way back in SERPs for an extremely popular keyword. Still, a website built on a great keyword in a off-brand extension is better than a junky long name .net or org, IMHO.

some top keywords will be nice to have, i have Traveleurope-ch which generates $10/mon ppc revenue, i also had ecasino-bz with no traffic at all
