priority-low Weird forum behaviour/bugs

I just realised a thread "disappeared" from it's category index listing:

(My guess is that it will likely reappear with a simple bump (currently 3 posts/2 replies)? But figured I'd report it anyways .. I'm not sure if it was ever there as I found the thread via a profile search of a new domainer asking for help)


Also .. when I was in the middle of writing in another thread I had an error pop up while I was using the down arrow key (not sure if it was coincidental or not .. but it certainly wasn't while I was trying to submit anything or trying to upload a file or even use any of the posting tools:

Note .. I'd usually report errors separately .. but the timing seemed a little too coincidental to rule out a single common problem.

There was a temporary issue with a missing GeoIP database file on some servers. It's been resolved.

Yes .. and quite possibly it was there the entire time. However that means both replies did not trigger the usual bump.

Update:

• The OP posting in the thread again so soon triggered our bump prevention, which caused the last post date to be updated to the date of the first post by the OP rather than the date of the second post by you. That appears to be a bug with our bump add-on. Thanks for reporting it.
